Who we are

designedbyshelby ("we," "us") is the data controller for the personal data described below. Address: Kitheronos 25, Athens 112 55, Greece. Email: support@designedbyshelby.com.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, company name if you give it, the service you're asking about, and your message.
• Checkout and orders: your name, email, phone, billing address, and — if you choose an invoice — your company name, VAT number and tax office. We also collect the project details you enter.
• Payment (test mode): card details you enter at checkout exist only in your browser's memory for the length of the test transaction. They are never stored, logged, or sent to us.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) needed to run and secure the site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to your enquiry — legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To process and deliver an order you've placed — performance of a contract with you.
• To issue a receipt or invoice — a legal obligation under Greek tax law.
• To keep the site secure and working correctly — legitimate interest.
• To understand how the site is used, via Google Analytics — only with your consent, given through the cookie banner. If you don't consent, this doesn't happen at all.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider, to the extent needed to run the site. If you contact us, your message reaches our own inbox directly (or an optional form service processes it on our behalf first). If you consent to analytics, Google (Google Analytics) processes usage data, which may involve a transfer outside the EEA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Where legally required, our accountant sees billing information needed for invoicing. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into an order are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Order and billing records are kept for as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. Your cart contents are stored only in your own browser (localStorage), never on our servers.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Greek Law 4624/2019, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, ask for a portable copy, object to our use of it, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise any of these, email support@designedbyshelby.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
