General
What exactly does designedbyshelby do?
Fixed-scope, fixed-price websites — landing pages, business sites, e-commerce stores, redesigns, brand + website bundles, and monthly care plans — each with a published price and timeline, buyable online.
Who is this for?
Small and mid-sized businesses in Greece, and English-speaking businesses abroad, who want agency-level craft without a sales process attached to it.
Do you work with clients outside Greece?
Yes, entirely by video call. The process and the prices don't change based on where you're based.
Can I see examples of your work before I buy?
Yes — at /work/: one real build (this site) and three labelled studio concepts.
Do you offer a free consultation call?
Not for free — a paid Strategy Session (€90) replaces an unpaid sales call, and the fee is credited back in full if you book a project within 30 days.
Pricing & payment
Are the prices really final?
Yes, for the six published packages. A genuinely bespoke project outside their scope is quoted separately, after a conversation.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes — every displayed price includes 24% Greek VAT.
How does the 50/50 payment work?
50% is due at checkout, 50% when you approve the final result, before launch.
Can I pay in installments beyond that?
Not currently — the two-part structure (or monthly billing for Care Plan) is the only payment plan offered.
What if I need something that combines two packages?
Tell us at /contact/ — combined scopes (an e-commerce store plus a brand system, for example) are common and scoped from the base prices.
Process
How long does a project actually take?
Each service page states its own timeframe (1–8 weeks depending on scope). The clock starts at the kickoff call, not at checkout.
What do you need from me?
Whatever content and brand assets you already have, plus timely answers and feedback at each stage.
How many revisions do I get?
Stated per tier on each service page — never left as "reasonable changes."
What platforms do you build on?
Custom Astro-based builds for most sites; Shopify or WooCommerce for e-commerce, chosen with you at the discovery stage.
Can I ask for changes mid-project outside the plan?
Yes — priced and agreed as additional work before we do it, never added to your bill without asking first.
After launch
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Every tier includes a stated post-launch fix window (30–90 days) covering defects in what we built.
Who updates the site after that?
You can, if comfortable doing it, or a Care Plan (from €79/month) covers ongoing updates, monitoring, backups and edits.
Do I need a Care Plan?
Only if you want us handling updates and edits going forward — the site is yours to run either way.
Can I move my site to another host or developer later?
Yes — you own the code and files, so that's entirely your choice. Nothing here locks you in.
Legal & data
Who owns the website once it's finished?
You do, in full, once the final payment is made: code, design files and domain.
What happens to my data if I fill out the contact form or place an order?

Do you use cookies?
Only a necessary cart/consent cookie by default. Analytics cookies load only if you opt in — see our Cookie Policy.
What law governs the contract?
Greek and EU law; disputes are handled by the courts of Athens, with the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman available as an out-of-court option for consumers.
Can I cancel an order?
